Reba Jack Patton passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Hillsboro. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker-Ashworth Funeral Home in Kaufman. Reba was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Kaufman County to James and Mattie Toland Rushing. She was raised in the Warsaw community in Kaufman County. She lived in Garland, Fort Worth and the Cedar Creek area, the last two years in Whitney. She and her husband, Harvey Patton, owned and operated Seven Points Grocery and Seven Points Laundry Mat in Seven Points. Her husband, Harvey H. Patton Sr., and a daughter, Ruth Ann Ogle, preceded her in death. Survivors: Sons, Harvey Hampton Patton Jr. of Whitney and Don Patton and his wife, Sheila, of Boyd; sister, Lois Blanton of Warsaw; grandchildren, Aaron Wayne Patton, Dana Weaver and Brad Ogle; and great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Patton and Morgan Weaver.
