Bio
Lucille Kret, 95, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet. Lucille was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Lingleville to Elmer Grissom and Etna Purvis-Grissom. She was a resident of Saginaw for 44 years before moving to Azle in 2008. Lucille married the late John P. Kret. For more than 50 years she was a master tailor and co-owner of Ned and Johnnie's Cleaners and Tailors in Fort Worth. She was an active member of the Fort Worth Friendship Club, SPJST Ladies Circle and a 75-year member of SPJST Lodge 92. Survivors: Son, Timothy Paul Kret and wife, Jane Ann; daughters, Linda Horner and husband, Jimmy, Sharon Kret and husband, Bill; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
