Obituary: Miller, Oleta "Jackson" Born: 17 Sep 1927 in Wade, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA Died: 25 Feb 2014 in Wade, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA Oleta Miller a resident of Wade, Oklahoma and a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior passed from this earthly life at her home on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the age of 86 years 5 months and 8 days. She was born in Wade, Oklahoma to Adlai and Flora (Clifton) Jackson on Saturday, September 17, 1927. Oleta Jackson married Leon Miller in Sherman, Texas on Thursday, March 29, 1945. Oleta enjoyed making her friends and family laugh. She made beautiful quilts, and liked to sew. Oleta loved to play games like cards and dominoes. She liked to find a bargain at garage sales. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Leon of the home; daughter, Bettye Willingham of the home; sons, Lonnie Miller and wife Becky of Kingsland, Texas and Michael Miller and wife DeAnne of West Jordan, Utah; brother, Harry Jackson of Kountz, Texas; sister, Juanita Powell of Colbert, Oklahoma; beloved friend, Mo Allen of Wade, Oklahoma; special friend and neighbor, Keith Hopkins of Wade, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Oleta Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Adlai and Flora; daughter, Sandra Webb; sister, Beatrice Scott; brother, Roy Jackson. Family Hour will be from 6-8:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Wade Baptist Church in Wade, Oklahoma with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Wade Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Oleta's grandsons, Keith Webb, Ted Willingham, Tod Willingham, Cody Miller, Travis Audrey, Kevin Miller, Matt Miller and Matt Davis.
