Bio

Mary Wendt, 92, formerly of Tomahawk died on Monday February 7, 1994 at Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill. Mary was born on November 28, 1901 in Iowa to Wallace and Flore Johnson. In 1923 she married Arthur McLaughlin, he died in 1943. She later married Irvin Wendt on February 5, 1944 in Milwaukee. He died in 1976. A cook at the Midget Club in Tomahawk for 19 years she loved children, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday February 10, 1994 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. Rev. Ken Albers officiated and burial took place at the Greenwood Cemetery in Tomahawk. The Krueger and Son's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
