NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Isaac Thomas Timmons, 84, a retired draftsman, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005. Funeral services will be noon today at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Ike, as he was called by friends and family members, was a devout family man, faithful to God and his church. His presence could light up a room. He was always friendly and personable, more concerned about others than himself. Ike fully enjoyed sports of all kinds, remaining loyal to Texas teams. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and created many lasting pieces for his family to cherish. Ike loved music, including singing. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Arbogust, in 2003. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Gerry; son, Tom Timmons and wife, Jan; daughters, Linda Wright and husband, Larry, Tammy Luthy and husband, Lee; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
