A native of Mann Township, she was a daughter of Jonathan and Amanda (Purcell) Potts and wife of Albert M. Clingerman. She was noted to be 77 years old at the time of her death. Her obituary can be found in the Cumberland Evening Times, 23 Jan 1968, p. 8., col. 6.
