Preceded in death by parents, John, Jr. and Martha (Zimmerman) Jaax; sister, Mildred Ward. Survived by husband, Leonard; sons, James and wife Joan of Boston, Michael and wife Danis of Spokane; grandchildren: Valerie, Matthew, Judy, Regina, Emily and Seth; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Stewart; many nieces and nephews; cousins from the Zimmerman and Jaax families. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, 4pm to 8pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. VISITATION Saturday, 9:30am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10:30am at the church. Luncheon to follow immediately in the Parish Hall. Interment, St. Boniface Cemetery in Stuart, Nebraska in April. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the College of Saint Mary, 7000 Mercy Rd., Omaha, NE 68106.
