Bio
Wanda Yvonne Hall, 90, of Garland, Texas, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Senior Care at Beltline, in Garland, Texas. Wanda was born in Ferris, Texas on January 19, 1924. She was a cook for the Senior Citizens Center in Ferris for 20 years. She loved to play dominos 42, scrabble, reading Louis L'amour books and made the best fried chicken. Wanda is survived by a granddaughter; Carla and Wayne Sligar of Garland, Texas, daughter; Alene Fade, of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by daughter Carolyn, sons Bud, Lowell, Roger, Jerry and Bobby, brothers LaRoy, Ray and sister Clara Faye. Visitation is scheduled for 6-8 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Green Funeral Home, 207 S. Wood St. in Ferris, Texas. Funeral service at Green Funeral Home, Ferris, Texas, at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 15, 2014 with Bob Mashburn officiating. Interment to follow at Ferris Memorial Park North.
