Trudy W. Silva, 60 years old of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Tuesday, August 23, 1949, in DeRidder, daughter of the late Mitchell Edger White and the late Mae Bell Mahaffey White. Surviving are her husband, George W. Silva; 2 daughters, Laura S. Reeves, and Tammy S. Shuh and husband Mike; son, Jarrett J. Silva and wife Marcie; 5 grandchildren, George A. Reeves, Skye R. Travis, Michael R. Shuh, Makayla C. Silva, and Ceradwyn L. Shuh; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, May 24, 2010, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond.
