Dona M. McIntosh, 78, of North Platte, passed away Feb. 5, 2014 at her home. She was born April 5, 1935 to Sid and Marie (Staples) Walsh at North Platte. Dona graduated from North Platte High School in 1953 and later was united in marriage to Jerry McIntosh on July 3, 1953. Dona was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed researching family genealogy. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of North Platte; her children, Chris (Punky) Poff of LaCenter, WA, Robert (JoEllen) McIntosh, Kim Sorrells and Ranelle Bailey all of North Platte; two brothers, Terry (Jo) Walsh of Pocatello, ID and Jim (Sharon) Walsh of North Platte; grandchildren, Niki, Judd and Mike Keith, Kayte Gerwig, Eric and Tanner McIntosh, Brian and Emily Sorrells, Marcus and Mitchel Bailey; special friends, Maxine Mulder and Jerry Collins; and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gary Smith officiating. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
