Bio

Death Certificate states that Florence was buried in Calvary Cemetery May 1, 1926. She was married to Virgil Filmore Dowling at the time of her death. Florence married Walter Wilbur Beeler about 1891. They had two sons Samuel William Beeler, 1892-1895 and Richard Jack Beeler, 1895-1962. Walter was from Kentucky and passed away in 1931 in Chicago, Ill. A divorce record has not been found yet. About 1895 she married Patrick McKinney from Ireland. The 1910 census states that she had four children with two living. No information is known about the two children not living. Patrick passed away in 1914 and sometime between then and 1920 she married Virgil Filmore Dowling, her first cousin. There was a fire where the Calvary cemetery records were kept and all plot information was lost, in the 1960's. The nuns did try to recreate a map using the exsisting headstone memorials. This handwritten map is located at the Calvary Hill Cemetery.
