William F. "Bill" Termes William F. "Bill" Termes, 81, Rapid City, died Friday. April 28, 1995 at the university of New Mexico Hospital at Albuquerque, N.M. He was born April 23, 1914, in rural Meade County, the son of Dutch immigrants John and Annette (VandenBos) Termes. He moved with his family to Lead as a child and to Whitewood in 1926. He was employed with and served a carpenter's apprenticeship with Chris Pederson in the Whitewood area. In 1937, he moved to San Diego, Calif., where he was a carpenter and building contractor. He served in the U.S. Navy from September 1942 to September 1945. He married Dorothy M. Mutchler on Feb. 9, 1942, at El Paso, Texas.The couple resided in the Los Angeles area until 1964, when they moved to Rapid City. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 1982, and one brother, Joe. He married Natalie Tines Sept 29, 1987, in Rapid City. He was a building contractor in the Rapid City area. He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, a past member of the Gideon Society, and a member of the Minneluzahan Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include his wife Natalie Termes, Rapid City; two sons and their spouses: 6 stepchildren and their families; one brother and his wife; five grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home in Rapid City. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. A memorial has been established.
