Bio

Services for Bedford Rand Gowan, 85, were held Thursday in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Rev. Pat Loftin officiating. Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Cox Funeral Home. He died April 19 at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi. Survivors include his wife, Estelle Gowan of Pioneer; three brothers, John Gowan and Coleman Gowan, both of Delhi, and George Gowan of Epps; two sisters, Ruth O'Neal and Jane Cole, both of Delhi; and several nieces and nephews.
