Daughter of Rufus Transeau and Irene E. Hendren Married John Wesley Nance, 18 Jul 1902, Kaysville, Davis, Utah Children - Irene Lucy Nance, Ruth Gertrude Nance, Mildred Mary Ann Nance, Zira Helena Nance, Naomi Nance Utah Death Certificate Davis County Clipper – Bountiful UT Friday – 26 January 1917 Page 1 – Column 5 & 6 Mrs. John Nance died very early Friday morning following a stroke of paralysis on the previous Monday. This was the third stroke she had had. She never fully recovered from the first two. She was born in Wilkesburg [sic] N. C. and was 46 years old. She was married to John Nance in Kaysville about 17 years ago and has resided here since. Her husband and four children survive her. Thye buried a child about a year ago. She is also survived by a brother, Bureaugard Transaux [name misspelled]of Garfield. Funeral services were held in the Kaysville tabernacle, Sunday at noon.
