Bio
Cecelia B. Rychlik, 97, of Ennis, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2014, with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Cecelia was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank J, Sr. and Frances (Sosolik) Strouhal. On February 9, 1936, Cecelia married Mr. Benjamin F. Rychlik. During those years, they owned Ben's Grocery in Kleberg, Texas and raised three children, as well as livestock. Cecelia was an avid gardener and quite the fisherwoman. As said by her family, "She could grow anything and out catch anyone." But her love was her family; providing for them and taking care of them was her life. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin, in 1995; sister, Georgia Chaudler; brothers, Frank Jr. and Wesley Strouhal; and son-in-law, James Lane. Survivors include her children; Rose Marie Lane, of Ennis, Ben D. Rychlik and his wife, Jane, of Ennis, and Deborah Rychlik, of Ennis; grandchildren, Steve Rychlik and his wife, Shelley, of Dallas, Rod Rychlik and his wife, Barb, of Ennis, Tina Sylvester and her husband, Wayne, of Ennis; great-grandchildren, Trey Sylvester and his wife, Catherine, Benjamin Sylvester and his wife, Carissa, Mackenzie Rychlik, Rex Rychlik, Conner Rychlik, and Rachel Rychlik; great-great-grandson, Matthew Sylvester.
