Joe Mart Cogdill June 18, 2010 HILLSBORO--Joe Cogdill, 54, died Monday, June 18 in Salem. Joe was born in Roswell, N.M. He moved to Salem in 1980, where he worked for James River Corp. until he retired in 1999. He married Shirley on May 21, 1965. He enjoyed scuba diving, photography and traveling to sunny places. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley in 1998. Survivors include his son, John Cogdill; daughters, Tammy Spangrud and Melissa Koenig; sisters, Louise Barrett and Darla Davis; mother, Bertha Ross; and Grandchildren, Christopher, Austin, Brittani, Dennis, Ashlee, Kelsey and Ian.
