Obituary John Tony Reeves, 84, of Asheville, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Paul and Pauline Cole Reeves. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Wells. Mr. Reeves was retired from Gerber, and was a member of Starnes Cove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Rosalee Ingle Reeves; daughter Toni Buckner and husband Mickey of Candler; 2 grandchildren, Michael and his wife Beth, and Meredith; great-granddaughter Ella; twin brother James Reeves of Leicester; and special friends, David and Carol Livingston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Starnes Cove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family. -
