Bio

James was born at Lancaster, Dallas Co.,Texas to Mary E Lewis and Thomas Scroggins. He was the Eight of Nine children. He married Wesley Edith Key December 13, 1895 in Hill County. They had ten children; Earl S, Manala Nell, Myrtle, James H., Annie Mae, Evelyn, Melvis, Urban Franklin, Marylan Louise and Peggy Ruth. Jim was a Farmer all of his life.
