Dorothy Louise Williams June 25, 1917 - October 30, 2015 The Lord called Dorothy Louise Norris Williams home on the 30th of October , 2015. Born June 25, 1917, in Carroll, Texas to Bertie Hobbs Norris and George C. Norris. She was sister to Doris Dixon, Barry Lee Norris and G. C. Norris, Jr. , all who preceded her in death. Dorothy lived most of her life in Tyler, Texas and in later years, she moved to Yantis, Texas. She was married for 57 years to Gaylord Williams, who passed away January 20, 2001. She was a professional seamstress and a member of Dover Baptist Church in Carroll. Dorothy is survived by her only daughter, Alice F. Mitchell, and was a loving grandmother to three grandchildren, Jackie L. Miller of Yantis, Steven D. Mitchell of Lewisville and Crystal June and husband, Warren Chan of Yorba Linda, CA. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving and adoring aunt to Patricia Keeling, Larry Dixon & Michael Dixon (deceased). She spread her love even further with two "adopted" daughters, Fonda Brousseau and Dianna Mitchell Service Funeral Service Hilliard Funeral Home 386 N.
