Bio

William P. Wiley (Wylie) is the oldest son of James Davis Wylie and Nancy Shaw Wylie. He served in Company A, 27th Mississippi Infantry, CSA. He was wounded October 8, 1862 at the Battle of Perryville in Kentucky. He was taken as a prisoner of war and dispatched to the prison hospital in Louisville Kentucky where he died of pneumonia November 25, 1862. Buried in Section O, Lot 246, #3
