Bio

Herald Coaster, November 26, 1979: Funeral services for Rudolph A. Novosad, 77, of Needville, were held at 10 a.m. today at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Novosad died Saturday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mary Novosad; six daughters, Jane Scheel of Wharton, Rosalie Novosad of League City, Lillian Steffek and Dorothy Wieghat of Needville, Marie Wiatrek of Seguin, and Adeline Jackson of Austin; three sons, Lad Novosad of Wharton, John Novosad of Chicago, and Gilbert Novosad of Rosenberg; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
