VALPARAISO VISITOR--SEPTEMBER 28, 1950 MRS. GEORGE BINGHAM BURRIED TUESDAY A Requiem High Mass was sung Tuesday morning, September 26 at 9 a. m. by the paster, Father John Kozlik assisted by the St. Mary's choir for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Julia Bingham who departed this life Saturday evening at 11:45 p. m. at her home in Valparaiso after an illness of five months. Julia Laura Londreau was the daughter of Jerry and Leona Londreau, born July 1, 1874 in Illinois. She was educated in York county, Nebraska and grew to womanhood, and was married to George A Bingham, January 31, 1900 in St Joseph's church in York, Nebraska. A daughter was born to them and died in 1923, Georgiabelle Bingham, who lived but a short time leaving two children, Benny Bartek and now Mrs. Thelma Vyhlidel. Mr. and Mrs. George Bingham farmed amd lived in and near Valparaiso most of their married lives. Mrs. Bingham was a very active member in the St Mary's church and Altar society. Funeral services were held at the St Mary's church at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning with Rev. John Kozlik officiating and was laid to rest in the St Mary's cemetery at Valparaiso. Pallbearers were:Ben Bartek, Richard Potter, Cyril Pekarek, Louis Pokorny, Joe Masek and Jim Wais.
