Sergeant, Company F, 44th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry--Putnam Vols. CSA Enlisted Mar. 1862 as SGT. Wounded at Ellison's Mill, VA. Jun 26, 1862. Died of wounds Aug 3, 1862. He was married to Elizabeth Batchelor. After his death she married Thomas J. Clements in 1866. Her place of burial unknown.
