Bio

Wesley McDANIEL, the third child of William and Mary McDANIEL, was born in Highland Township, Greene County, Indiana, January 22, 1856 and departed this life June 30, 1919, being sixty-three years, five months and eight days of age at the time of his death. He was married to Laura WORKMAN in 1882. To this union nine children were born, three of them dying in infancy and six surviving children are Noah, Cleveland, Mrs. Josephine MILLER, Mrs. Mary SULLIVAN and Mrs. Mamie OSBORN, both of Bloomfield, and John, who lived with his father at the time of his death. Mr. McDANIEL, was converted at Calvertville, but never affiliated with any church. He was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge at Newark, having joined as a charter member. Besides his six surviving children, he leaves two brothers, Simon and Henry, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucile BURCH and Mrs. Elizabeth BURCH. One brother and one sister have preceded him to the Great Beyond.
