Texas Death Index: Wallace Jessie L 10-14-1977 HUNT F ---------- Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Sat, 15 Oct 1977, page A2, Deaths, Wallace Services for Jessie Lee Wallace, 82, of Rt. 2, Greenville, will be at 4 p.m. today at Sorrells & Sons Chapel with Rev. Richard Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park. Mrs. Wallace died at Citizens General Hospital Friday. She was born in Wylie on Nov. 1, 1896 to Nathaniel C. and Lillie Hampton Little. She was married to I.E. Wallace in January of 1925. Mrs. Wallace was a resident of Hunt County for many years and had lived at the Guest House for the past six years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Ann Glover of Greenville, a granddaughters (sic), and a niece, Mrs. Ida Lee Burchett of Lawton, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband in October of 1956. Pallbearers will be Johnny Anderson, Charles Southerland, Joe Allen Burchett, Bill Smisson, Travis Carter and Walter Drew.
