Loretta Knebel Jaks, 84, of El Campo, died Thursday, March 8, 2007. She was born Feb. 22, 1922 in Hillje to Emil and Frances Skrovan Knebel. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Jaks Sr.; grandsons, Robert Loren Jaks and Richard Jaks III; and brothers, Ray, Emil and Victor Knebel. Visitation will be Sunday, March 11 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 12 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Funeral Services will follow at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Philip's with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Interment will be at the St. Andrew?s Cemetery in Hillje. Arrangements are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
