Bio
On Friday, January 10, 2014, Larry B. Zatopek gained his golden fishing rod. Larry was born on October 3, 1953 in Columbus, Texas to B.F. and Laurine (Krenek) Zatopek. Larry spent most of his adult life as a Piper in the Gas and Oil Industry with Jacobs Engineering being his last corporate family. He also found time over the years to enjoy "extra curricular" activities that provided him more time to spend with his sons. Larry was a coach and teacher in sports, archery, karate and of course...fishing. He was instrumental in setting up the Ft. Bend County Bowhunters Club. Larry also took great pride in the men his sons became and the beautiful group of grandchildren they eventually gave him who affectionately called him Grandpa Larry.
