Mary Elizabeth McCormick (Elizabeth or "Lizzie") was born May 15, 1884 in Arkansas and she married Charles Theodore Wilkes (C.T. Wilkes) Mar 14, 1901 in Danville District, Logan County, Arkansas. They lived in Blue Mountain, Arkansas. The original family name was spelled WILKS. C.T. Wilkes was born in 1869 in Indiana, died Oct 22, 1936 in Logan County, Arkansas and is buried in the Blue Mountain Cemetery in Blue Mountain (Logan County) Arkansas. Mary Elizabeth Wilkes has a grave site and head stone in the Blue Mountain Cemetery, in Blue Mountain, Arkansas next to her husband, but she died in Lubbock, Texas, December 3, 1973 and is buried in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Lubbock, Texas.
