Graveside services for Ernest Lee (Bo) Snodgrass, 79, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 in the City of Lubbock Cemetery with Randy Rogers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. He died on Sept. 9, 2005. Ernest Lee was born Sept. 26, 1925 in Vernon. He moved to Lubbock in 1939, he graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech University. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a partner in the family business of Snodgrass-Maner Motor Company, which was established in 1939. Bo married Linna Ferguson on March 14, 1954. He loved to golf at Meadow Brook Golf Course and was an avid fan of Red Raider Football. He is survived by his wife, Linna; a son, Larry Snodgrass; grandson, Jody Allen Venable; and two great-granddaughters, Christian Venable and Kayleigh Venable. A grandson, Jeremy D. Venable, preceded him in death on Dec. 25, 1998.
