Bio

Per Columbus Journal 5/1/1889: John Dresch, a well-to-do farmer, was struck by lightning and instantly killed, at 7 a.m. Friday, while plowing in his field north of David City. He was sixty-four years of age, and leaves a wife and seven grown up children.
