Mrs W Clendening Dies At Winnipeg HANOVER — Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. W A Clendening of Winnipeg, a former resident of Allan Park, who passed away March 3 at the home of her son A W Clendening 215 Kison St., Norwood. Deceased who was 75 years of age was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Willis, Sr. of Allan Park and she was organist of Christ Church there for many years and will be remembered by many in the district. She went to reside in Winnipeg in 1899. Her husband William Alvin Clendening died in 1944. The late Mrs. Clendening is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J Murray of St Vital; two sons, Alvin W of Norwood and Vincent F of Winnipeg; and four grandchildren. Burial took place Saturday in the family plot in Elmwood cemetery, Winnipeg. (The Sun Times - Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada • Fri, Mar 12, 1954, Page 16)
