Bio

The Steele Enterprise, Steele, Missouri Friday, December 22, 1961 Funeral services wre held Wednesday for Dora Adline Meek of Kennett, Route 3, who died December 19, 1961. The daughter of W.M. and Georgia Perkins, she was born at Morris Chapel, Tenn., on October 10, 1870. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Bullock; two granddaughters, two grandsons, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Elva Baker of Savannah, Tenn.; three brothers, Doss Perkins of Sulphur Springs, Texas, J.E. Perkins of Corinth, Miss., and Ive Perkins of Memphis. Rev. Charles Miller conducted the service. Burial was at Mount Zion Cemetery with the German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Webb Cleveland, Jadie Nail, Charley Bush, Edd Garrison, Jim Vaughn, and P.E. Pender.
