Bio

Son of W Marion Woodruff (1877-1904) and Mattie G Carter (1875-1934). Enlisted in the US Army Air Forces on 29 Jun 1917 in Fort Sam Houston, Bexar County, Texas and served in the 21st Field Artillery as a Private First Class (PFC) until his discharge on 5 Aug 1919. He served overseas from 4 Mar 1918 to 22 Jul 1919. Married Floris Montgomery (1899-1994). They had at least two children - Infant Child (1921-1921) and Otis Columbus, Jr. (1924-1990).
