Age, 45 yrs 8 mos 1 day; Married; Aircraft Plant Father, I.T. Adams Mother, O. Baker Informant, Mrs. Lester Adams per Texas Death Certificate Funeral services were held for Francis Lester Adams, 45, at the First Baptist Church in Kerrville on Sept. 5 with the Rev. Don Anderson officiating. Adams, who died in a Kerrville hospital on Sept. 1, was the son of the late Jim and Oma Adams. Born Dec. 30, 1911, he was reared in the Fairview community near Evant in Hamilton County. He was married to Lorena Higgins. He and his wife and three children came to San Saba County about 1947 and they resided in the Pecan Grove community until two years ago when they moved to Kerrville. He is survived by his wife and three children, Douglas Lester Adams, who is serving with the U.S. Air Force in Japan, Mrs. Myrna Loene Stevenson of Ft. Worth and Kaylon Francis Adams of Kerrville; two grandsons, Norlan Lee and Kyran David Stevenson of Fort Worth' four brothers, Virgil Adams of Austin, Spincer Adams of San Saba, Eugene Adams and James Adams of California; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Mae Yahner of Dallas, Mrs. J.D. Terral of Hamilton and Mrs. Virgil Terry of Goldthwaite. Burial was made in The Garden of Memories at Kerrville. The San Saba News and Star San Saba, Texas Thursday, September 26, 1957
