Bio

August 1922 – Funeral. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Third ward chapel for Albert Hutchison, who died Saturday, August 12th, of tuberculosis, from, which he had suffered since January. Bishop Ralph D. Morgan was in charge and also made the closing remarks. Other speakers were Lorenzo Argyle of Lake Shore, Charles Measom and Marinus Larsen. The ward choir sang three selections. Mrs. Anale R. Beck sang a sole and Mrs. Annie Carbell and daughter, Irene, sang a duet, “Sometime We’ll Understand.” The invocation was offered by Joseph Francis and benediction was pronounced by Nathan Clayson, both of Lake Shore. Interment was made in the Spanish Fork cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by Marinus Larsen. Albert Hutchison was the son of David and Sarah Hutchison. He was born at Lake Shore May 3rd 1896, where he grew to manhood. His father died her two years ago. He was living in Idaho at the time of the war, and was drafted into the service from that state. After spending some time training at Camp Lewis, he was mustered out of the service because of weak lungs, and returned to his home in Idaho. He lived in Idaho a little more than a year, after which he returned to Utah and went to work at Garfield. Here he contracted pneumonia, and tuberculosis gained a foothold. He has been a sufferer since that time. Besides the death of this son, Mrs. Hutchison has buried four grandchildren in the last months. Albert Hutchison was baptized at Lake Shore and before leaving for the training camp he was ordained and elder and received his patriarchal blessing. –The Spanish Fork Press (Spanish Fork, Utah), Thurs., Aug. 1, 1911, Page 1.
