His death date and place not proven yet. Joseph Casimire Proulx (Prue) was the grandson of Marie Josephte Normand and Jacques Proulx. She was born 18 May 1767 in Montmagny, Quebec, Canada. She died 8 May 1850 in Quebec, Canada. Jacques Proulx was born January 28th 1767 in St-Pierre-de-la-Riviere-du-Sud parish, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada. He died March 22nd 1855 in St-Thomas parish, Town of Montmagny, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada. ~ ~ BAPTISM RECORD OF Joseph Casimire Proulx March 18th 1836 in St-Thomas parish, Montmagny, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada shown in top photo. Joseph married 1st Emma Basor but she died less than a year later. He then married Rebecca Jane "Jennie" (Matthews) ROOT, born May 1837. She died After 1910 in Texas. Jane aka "Jennie" had a daughter Minnie Roseman ROOT when she married Joseph Prue. Joseph Prue was buried January 4, 1925. Joseph was the father of Leonard O. Prue also buried at Cox Cemetery. Joseph was the father of Joseph William Prue, Find A Grave Memorial# 125499303 buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fort Worth, Texas. The informant for the death certificate of Joseph Prew was a J.W.Prue (his son?) but its marked "don't know" whether married, widowed or divorced. Think it strange if J.W. Prew was the son, he didn't know the marital status of his father. See Ancestor Thomas Proulx #136503066
