George Bernice Underwood VanCleve was son of Americus "Meck" Underwood and Stella VanCleve who divorced. Stella changed George's surname to her maiden name after the divorce. George married Fern E. McWethey on 20 Nov 1913 in Canyon Creek, Lewis and Clark County, Montana; had 7 children.
