Bio

Mrs. E. Southworth Mrs. Elizabeth Southworth, 75, a La Marque resident for the past 26 years died Wednesday Feb. 21, at the Danforth Hospital in Texas City. Services were Saturday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in La Marque, the Rev. Donald Marquart officiated. Burial followed In Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock under the direction of the James Crowder Funeral Home. She was the widow of Frank A. (Curly) Southworth, a former business manager of the Galveston County Cement Finishers Local. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in La Marque. Survivors include three sons, James L. Southworth of La Marque, William E. Southworth of Waterloo, Iowa and Jack D. Southworth of Arcadia; a sister, Mrs. Anna Johnson and a brother, George A. Miller, both of Gothenburg, Neb., seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
