Paul Wesley Thrift, 78 of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Plano Medical Center in Plano, Texas. He was born on December 16, 1935 in Howe, Oklahoma to the late William Angus Thrift and Ader Ary Thrift. Paul was raised in Howe where he graduated from Howe High School in 1954 and later served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1958 in Germany. He married Betty Jo Traughber on July 1, 1960 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on February 9, 1999. Paul lived in Spencer, Oklahoma and Tulsa before moving to Kingston in 1973 where he lived the rest of his life. He married Nancy Sue Henry on May 24, 2000 in San Antonio, Texas. Paul worked as a Territorial sales manager for U.S. Plywood which eventually was purchased by Georgia Pacific. Paul attended the First Baptist Church in Kingston and was a member of the Masons and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, sporting events and being with his grandchildren. He is survived by: Wife: Nancy Thrift, Kingston, Oklahoma. Children: Mike Thrift and wife Cathy, Jones, Oklahoma Paule' Thrift, Mannsville, Oklahoma Jana Tucker and husband Randy, Bells, Texas Tony Henry and wife Ashley, Saudi, Arabia 10 Grandchildren: Trey, Ryan and Kyle, Haggerty, Wyatt and Eli Badget, Jace Henry, Michael Paul Thrift, Abby Moser, Kate Lindley and Shan Tate 8 Great Grandchildren Brother and Sisters: Gertie Shankle, Cedarville, Arkansas Imogene Crabtree, Howe, Oklahoma Linda Hooper, Wister, Oklahoma Mary Willingham, Cameron, Oklahoma Paul was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Betty, 1 son; Paul Frank Thrift, 2 granddaughters; Sheli Jackson and Steffani Tate.
