Bio

Grew up in the Chapman area and attended school in rural areas and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School. Farmed at Dannebrog from 1927 to 1954. Married Hazel STRATMAN on Sept 6, 1922, and she died June 2, 1965. Married Erma YEAGLEY on Dec. 4, 1967 and she died in 1991. Survived by one daughter, Merna Lacy of Grand Island; one son, LeRoy Scheer of Brownville; a step son, Max Anthes of Lincoln; grandchildren and one sister, Frieda Schipman of St. Libory. Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
