Hershel Dale Cofer, 63, of Pasadena, formerly of Emory, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home. Dale was born June 22, 1950 in Dallas to Hurshel Henry and Doris Lee Yaws Cofer. Graveside service will be held Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Emory City Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be at the Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 - 2:45 pm Sunday, prior to the graveside service. Survivors include Daughter: Dianna Patterson and husband Ray of Pasadena; Sons: Hershel Dale Cofer, Jr. of Pasadena and Timothy Allen Cofer and wife Kim of Pasadena; Sisters: Sharon Lee Cowden and husband Daniel of Emory, Michelle Warlaw and husband Bob of Rowlett, Janet Deyss of Waco, and Sandy Caldwell and husband Charles of Gilmer; Brother: Travis Cofer of Gilmer; Grandchildren: Joshua Dale Clum, Jeremy Wayne Clum, Callie Nunez; Hershel Dale Cofer III, Matthew Dillan Cofer, Brandon Lee Cofer, Ronald Dale Cofer; Patrick Garret Cofer; Great-Grandchildren: Jasmine Clum, Chloey Nunez, Isaiah Nunez, Olivia Steyer-Cofer, Joey Praytor; Great-Grandson - Soon to be born: Marshall Allen Cofer; Faithful Little Companion: "Peanut"; Numerous other loving friends and family.
