Thomas Jefferson Russell, born in 1835 married Cleopatra Lenora Donnell on December 12, 1865 in Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas. They were the parents of eight children: Mary Eunice (1867-1938), Cordelia Elizabeth (1968-1949), Aaron H.(1871-1889), Frances H.(1873-1935), Cornelius Roland (1877-1944), Minnie Orleana (1880-1950), Claude (1883-1886), and Edna Mae Russell (1888-1971). They lived in Williamson County in Georgetown and moved to Brown County and then to Mills County. Thomas Jefferson died around 1900 but his burial plot is not known,like so many others in the Ebony Cemetery.
