Bio

Annie J. Ducote, 76, of 6 Ball Powell St., died at 10:25 p.m. Monday in Rapides General Hospital. She was a retired England Air Force Base Exchange clerk, a member of St. Rita's Catholic church and a native of Avoyelles Parish. She was the widow of Kirby J. Ducote. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Tarver of Libuse and Peggy Stottlemyre of Chollicothe, Mo.; three sisters, Daisy Jeansonne of Alexandria, Mathilde Jeansonne of Bunkie and Pauline Saucier of Plaucheville; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Dupont, with the Revs. Alfred Chlebowczyk and Jules Spriet officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today in the funeral home where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friends may call at the church after 9 a.m. Thursday.
