Daughter of Henry A. & Clara (Czarnick) Ryba. She married Robert D. Gerber on March 25, 1963 in Iowa. They moved to Omaha for a few years before returning to Columbus. Florence worked at the New World Inn for many years. She previously worked at Fleischer Manufacturing. She enjoyed her pets, grandchildren, and music. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
