Bio

Lee McDaniel, 83, of Judsonia, AR, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at Oakdale Nursing Facility in Judsonia, AR. The son of Lem and Emma Barnes McDaniel, he was born February 22, 1930 in Thola, Ar. He married Carol Jean McDaniel, on August 6, 1950 at Oxley, AR. He spent his professional career in construction. Lee felt very accomplished in raising such a large family. He was a member of the Church of God faith. Lee always loved fishing and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Sandra Jean McDaniel; son Keith Allen McDaniel; grandson Chad Allen McDaniel; two brothers; and one sister. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Carol Jean McDaniel of Judsonia; two sons David McDaniel and wife Jody of Russellville and Ronnie McDaniel and wife Deborah of Dover; five daughters Judy Smithson and husband Richard of Judsonia, Betty Smithson and husband Larry of Bald Knob, Peggy Horton and husband David of Marshall, Brenda Rogers and husband Tommy of Proctor, and Mary Johnson and husband John of Russellville; 23 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. David McDaniel, Rev. Richard Smithson, and Rev. Larry Smithson will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Gravel Hill, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00am, on Wednesday, at the funeral home before the service.
