Bio

Connie Herren Blair, 46, of Carlisle died from a heart attack Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Connie Blair was born April 12, 1951, in Winterset to Ralph and Dorothy (Campbell) Herren. She was a 1970 graduate of Orient-Macksburg High School. She married Jim Blair on Nov. 7, 1977. Connie worked at Casey's Store in Carlisle for 11 years, then at Parr Manufacturing in Des Moines. She was a former member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, grandparents, brother Gary and nephew Jeremy. Survivors are her three children, Joseph Blair of Des Moines and Jason and Jennifer Blair, both at home and a sister Carla Waddingham of Winterset.
