Bio

Father A. B. HARLEY Mother NORA ACREE Lorrene E. Jones, 87, 1512 University Blvd., Upland, died Wednesday in Marion General Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born in Bedford, Iowa, and moved to Marion in 1920. She married Louis Jones in August 1947. He died in 1957. She was a homemaker and worked eight years in Marion General Hospital's housekeeping department. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church, Marion, for 50 years. Survivors include two sisters, Zelda Holloway, Marshall, Mich., and Laverne Boyd, Tacoma, Wash. Graveside services were held on Saturday in Estates of Serenity cemetery, Marion. Needham-Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, handled the arrangements.
