Mrs. Jacob Hauptli funeral will be held Tuesday with burial in Christ Lutheran cemetery. She died 5:15 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter Mrs. G. D. Bley in Norfolk. She had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday afternoon. Ricka Krueger was born March 5, 1860 near Colberg, Germany. In 1881, her father, 3 sisters and her came to Norfolk. She was married on July 15, 1883 to Jacob Hauptli. He died Nov. 22, 1936. "Mrs. Hauptli is the last survivor of her family. She had been an invalid for five years." She was survived by 2 daughters and 3 sons: Mrs. G. D. Bley at Norfolk, Oscar C. at Needles, California; William L. at Boulder, Colorado; Herbert M. at Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. G. C. Bendel at Omaha; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
