Thomas F. Stock, 79, of Plattsmouth, formerly of the Humphrey-Lindsay area, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Omaha. Burial is at St. Michael Cemetery in Tarnov, at 3 p.m. Visitation begins at 9 a.m., and the rosary is at 9:40 a.m. Thomas was born March 4, 1934, the son of Frank M. and Josephine A. (Molczyk) Stock, at Humphrey. He attended St. Michael School in Tarnov. He served in the U.S. Navy from July 1952 to February 1955 at the rank of AMS 3 as a member of Helicopter Squadron TWO NAS, of Lakehurst, N.J. He was married to Jo Ann Hinrichs, May 14, 1960, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Harvard. After farming he owned a business in Deming, N.M. He was a member of the American Legion and Rotary Club. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling and cruising. He took great pride in overseeing the education and career guidance of his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his children, Anthony Stock, and fiancée, Diane McLaughlin, of Hattiesburg, Miss., Terry and Nadine Stock, of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Maribeth Stock, and Jo Ellen Stock, both of Bellevue, Tim and Renee Stock, of Richardson, Texas; five grandchildren; and brothers, Raymond and Julianne Stock, of Fremont, and Eugene and Carolyn Stock, of Humphrey. Preceded in death are his parents; wife, Jo Ann; and daughter, Sheri Stock.
