Lucindy Ellen Hooker Death of Aged Lady Mrs. Lucindy Ellen Hooker, one of Edna's oldest citizen, passed away Tuesday, February 3rd, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Berryhill. The funeral service was held at the Slavik Funeral Home this (Thursday) afternoon at 3:00 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Carl Schlomach, pastor of the Baptist Church. Interment was made in the Edna Cemetery. Mrs. Hooker was born July 22, 1863, hence had passed her 85th birthday. She had made her home in Edna with her daughter for many years.
